The Solo Guy Cotten has become a real institution in the preparation races for the Solitaire du Figaro. For all, the 340-minute course will be demanding, taking them south of Ushant and then to the island of Yeu, before returning to cross the line in front of Concarneau. They will have to be versatile, first on tactical tacks at the tip of Finistère, before a long tack further out to sea allowing for more marked options. Race Director
En 2013, la Société des Régates de Concarneau a tenu à saluer "ce formidable homme de mer et d'entreprise qu'était Monsieur Guy Cotten" en créant le Trophée GUY COTTEN. Il récompensait le vainqueur de la Solo Concarneau en Figaro Bénéteau 2. Cette course est née de la 110 miles en solitaire qui se court en HN depuis plus de 30 ans.
