Guy Cotten has a long history in yachting circles. It goes back to 1966, when the Sailing Clubs in South Brittany were equipped with our famous yellow oilskins: the authentic ROSBRAS jacket!

We were precursors in clothing designed specifically for sailing! Our light Rosbras jacket with its double flap combining self-grip fasteners and a zip was much more practical than the pea jackets available at the time!

Since then, over the years, the range was enriched with extremely technical wear designed for trans-oceanic round-the-world races. This was popular with well-known skippers such as Roland Jourdain, Marc Guillemot, Jean Le Cam, Yann Elies, Eric Drouglazet, François Gabart, etc.

Today, Guy Cotten has a major strength. We have our own design workshop in France and we control the production, manufacture and repair of all our clothing! This is exceptionally rare in the marketplace!
